Currently, we go from a large number to some small number based on relatively inaccurate assumptions. This may be a bit challenging to follow.

Advice was given to include a bottom-up model. E.g.
0. Compute how many shipments are performed yearly?

  1. What is the avg unit price on these shipments?
  2. How much can our protocol lower these unit prices (by means of improvements in algorithmic efficiency).
  3. What is that total profit increase for all those companies?
  4. What are the costs of using our protocol per unit, and what fraction of that profit can we take for our services?
  5. Then mention ok, for 5 companies, who process n units, we expect a revenue of y.

This makes it a bit more intuitive.
