The zip-subregion utility lookup data comes from the "Zip-subregion" tab of the Power Profiler Emissions Tool Excel file.
but has no other details about how the Zip-subregion tab (sheet) of that Excel file is transformed into containing these additional fields:
UtilName
trim_util_code
Predominant Utility
Is the app/data/zip.csv file manually maintained? That seems unlikely given the inconsistent column spelling conventions. (1 each of CamelCase, snake_case, Title Case and ALLCAPS -- that's quite impressive!) If there's some programmatic way of generating the zip.csv file from the Excel and shapefile data, plus the Zip-subregion sheet, that would be lovely to at least document.
