I chose en_GB during the ubiquity install - after the installation, after boot - the lightdm login screen was left at en_US.

I haven't tested what happens if you choose "Spanish" for Ubiquity - lightDM and the language should be set to the spanish locale chosen

noticed that in lightdm that all of these were now available. I wasn't expecting that since during the install I saw a lot of the languages being removed.

ubuntu 16 04 budgie 64bit running - oracle vm virtualbox_020

I havent checked - has a standard Ubuntu or Ubuntu Gnome-Shell have these same locales displayed from the login screen?

ok - have been doing some more testing of the new iso-builder-testing stuff.

Chose russian (I think) from ubiquity. budgie-remix installed. However on boot - en_US was the default option. I didnt see the russian locale.

I'll download xubuntu 16.04 and see how installing handles this scenario. Maybe its a ubiquity error?

it probably comes from ubiquity, the iso builder don't set any locale...
