Details

Operating system: MacOs X 10.11.6
Rack version: v1.1.3
Hardware relevant to your issue (e.g. graphic card model, audio/MIDI device): N/A

Summary

Resonator is mute with outputs high after reloading previously saved patch.

Steps to reproduce

Build nice patch with Resonator. Save. Quit Rack and restart. Cry sad tears as nothing short of deleting and re-adding and hoping I can remember what I did and how to get it back to make sound as it did before. Just to resave and face same sad story again. So it is unusable as is, and one of my fave modules...

My remedy :
Quit Rack and restart, Quit Rack and restart, Quit Rack and restart, until I get sound again from the resonator, It's not perfect but it works , just keep restarting ....

I'm not sure if I am experiencing the same as this but it sounds suspiciously similar.
Create a Resonator, patch a gate to the strum, connect the output to a mixer/scope. It's just a clean of voltage.
Create a Resonator, patch the output to the mixer/scope, then patch a gate to the strum. Now it works so the issue seems to be related to order of patching.

I'm happy to create a different bug report if this is a different issue. My issue does correct itself by restarting rack though.

I am also having the same issues. Unfortunately in my case, restarting does not seem to help. The solution that I have found is to duplicate the resonator module and re-patch the new instance. It seems to work until.... you save and try to reload the patch.

I am having the same issue as well, also on the latest macos + rack v1.1.3. Restarting also does not work in my case.

This problem still exists. (( Reloading patch helps. MacOS Catalina 10.15.3, VCV Rack v1.1.6

In case anyone is not following the forum thread, a fix for this (I think) was merged upstream so try building from source. It works for me now, no more dead outputs.

I can't reproduce this issue. Using Mac 10.15.3 with Rack 1.1.6 and Audible Instruments 1.3.0 from the VCV Library.
