What tasks did you complete this week? (Include links):
This week, I discussed with Matthew what code changes need to be done. We then figured out whether the centroid calculations needed to be done manually or automatically, and we decided to go through and do it manually. I then started working on a visualization algorithm.
Tasks are still ongoing? Current status?
The only pending task is the visualization algorithm.
Challenges and Learning
What was the biggest challenge you faced this week? How did you address it?
The biggest challenge that I faced was figuring out how to create the visualization algorithm. I have faced a large amount of bugs and debugging is very time consuming. However, I was able to figure most of it out using StackOverFlow and library-specific documentation.
What's one new thing you learned or skill you improved?
I improved my ability to read documentation and debug code related to graphing and data visualization.
Did you attend any team meetings? Key takeaways?
I met with Matthew twice to figure out the overall trajectory of the code.
Reflection and Planning
Your progress this week?
I was able to complete most of my tasks, and hope to get the visualization done soon.
Main focus for next week?
I want to complete the visualization and run the simulation with the visualizations available.
