Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

In Settings ->System -> Hostname of GamepadUI, the text field for "Change the name of this device" is hard to read if you tap to focus the text entry field but then continue to type with a physical keyboard. When this happens, Steam shows grey text on grey background making it very difficult to read.

The background goes white if you close the virtual keyboard, or type a single letter before switching back to your physical keyboard.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Got to Settings ->System -> Hostname in gamescope-session
  2. Tap the screen to open the field
  3. Tap the text field for "Change the name of this device"

You will briefly see the text field background go white, before returning to the grey state.

  1. Start typing with a keyboard connected via USB or Bluetooth

The text field will remain grey while you are typing

  1. Now try closing the virtual keyboard with the Keyboard Down button

The text field should become white and stay that color even if you type with a physical keyboard
