iron gratings still solid after breaking

When I was using 1.20.1 and Forge, the iron gratings I placed and then broke stayed in my way! I was also in a superflat world with lots of other mods online (39 to be exact) and I hope it takes you a month or less to solve this issue, as I will redownload it on the 31st of January. I hope all of this information turns out to be useful.
