Currently, to play the stream, the mediaplayer is started, stopped, and released everytime play/pause is pressed.

We can potentially change this to starting the mediaplayer when the app is launched, muting the audio when paused (and unmuting when resumed), and disconnecting when the audio is paused and backgrounded.
