Inspiration

In the past few years there has been an immense increase in the popularity of decentralised name services like .eth (ENS), Unstoppable Domains, and .sol (Bonafida). By combining Ethereum, Decentralised DNS and IPFS, we have a fully decentralised stack for creating dApps.

However, the bar to creating such dApps is quite high, requiring website development experience and understanding of how deployment on IPFS works. Due to this, most ENS domain holders are unable to create websites for their web3 domain.

What it does

dra.gd is a simple no-code website builder with prebuilt components to create anything from a profile page to a fully functioning dApp, while taking away the complexity of hosting a website and creating a frontend.

ENS domain owners can create a simple profile page / NFT gallery as a personal website or identity.

dApp developers can focus on smart contract development and use dra.gd to design a beautiful website.

Challenges you ran into

Distributed domain support is not mainstream and most browsers do not support it yet.
When using resolvers like eth.limo, the resolver maintainers usually set their own default page for domains which hinders users from creating their own page.

We are working on our own resolver.
