Use as events calander

We are thinking of using the system for a events calendar.

Would it be possible to;

1. Style blog post based on categorie in the listing?
2. Add a extra CMS-layout for blog-listing based post-filter?
3. Add a extra shopping experiance based on post-filter?
4. Import bult post-post via csv/sql?

Style blog post based on categorie in the listing?

Starting from version 4.1.1, category ID classes have been added to blog listing items. Could you check if this serves as a good first step for your use case?
