  • I have tried removing all other mods and the bug still happens.

Hey @StarsShine11904,

The mod conflict causing this crash is between Wurst 7.46.1 and Sodium 0.6.5 (or any Sodium version since 0.6.1, see #1088).

This bug is fixed in Wurst 7.46.6, which isn't officially available for Minecraft 1.21. However, the 1.21.1 build of Wurst 7.46.6 should be compatible with 1.21 as well. Try using that one as a workaround for now.

I'll make an official Wurst 7.46.6 MC1.21 build later this week, as there seem to be quite a few people still running into similar problems. Keeping this issue open until then.

But can Wurst maintain maintenance updates or new features in 1.21?
Because I'm still playing this version
Also, many mods are incompatible with higher game versions, so I am forced to stay on 1.21
I hope you can continue to maintain this version.

For now, Wurst 7.46.6 is the latest version, so 1.21 will be on par with 1.21.4 at least until the next Wurst update.

But beyond that, probably not, as most people are now playing on 1.21.1 or 1.21.4 instead (and 1.21.5 is also coming soon). I try not to maintain too many old versions at once. That said, I would imagine future 1.21.1 Wurst builds will still work with your modpack, given how similar Minecraft 1.21 and 1.21.1 are.

I've released the 1.21 port now, as well as a 1.21.2 and 1.21.3 port. That should fix everyone's Sodium compatibility issues.
