Trace's Span Propagation Documentation

Could we get documentation, similar to the one in the link below, about how to implement propagation of spans in the traces? I appreciate the small snippet given in the root README, but it is not enough to help implement tracing multiple spans in my services.

Nested spans are not working for me...or rather, I would expect them to work. But, if I know how to implement them then that would be the best.

I started a branch for having better docs a while ago, but never finished it. I'll try to complete it asap
