FR: Integrate tracking links into e-mails on status shipped or completed #184
Comments
Hello @fourstepper, I will forward this suggested feature to our programmers and they will see what can be done. Best regards, |
Thanks a lot for the consideration |
@MatyasKoval this is something that any respectful shipping company should have in their plugins, if one truly wants to integrate into a shopping solution, shipping tracking is just the basic it must be provided. Hopefully we will see this in Packeta soon! |
Hello @uhlhosting, Overall the standard procedures as with a Packeta delivery apply, so the end customer will receive an email with tracking and all the packet information from Packeta, once the delivery of the packet starts - as mentioned above we will definitely see what can be done about including this information also in the emails sent from Wordpress and our plugin as well. Best regards, |
That's really great that Packeta does that, I think the experience for the end-user would be much better to have the tracking right from the get-go. Thank you for considering this. |
Hi!
After changing a shipment to status
shipped
or the order to statuscompleted
, it would be great if the plugin could send the tracking link to the customer's email. I can imagine that this is a bit of a stretch right now, though it would be quite a nice feature.Right now the e-mails look like this:
Order completed e-mail:

Shipped e-mail:
