Can't reproduce, can you show image/video of what exactly you are doing and share your servers version and type information for better debugging? And maybe share your config file of this plugin, in case there is some sort of weird config behavior

Tested with your setup, still produces same correct results, by any chance you have another plugin which could manage exp bottles? Would suggest to test it without any other plugin on server to know that this is actually issue with plugin and not 3rd party doing something on exp bottle breaking
