Cooldown with particles before tping to a /home

Hey all, how do I make it so the three seconds warmup I have right now for the home command, to also shows the particles? When I do /home it now waits 3 seconds, but the particles only happen when the member teleported instead of before the teleport.

I use custom3: circle;effect:scrape;dur:3;pitchc:5;part:5;offset:0,1,0;radius:1;yawc:5 for the custom under ''home:''
