Help! Can't run the script

I've followed all the instructions.

1. Installed Powershell , Windows Terminal, and Python 3.9 and VS Code

2. Created .env and config.tgcf.yml file in a separate folder, as instructed.

*I've created a source and destination channel for testing and used both it's permanent share links as "group id's" because I couldn't find their true ID's.

3. I run "tgcf live" command on the terminal and I successfully log into telegram with my personal account:

4. Now I try sending messages on the source channel to see if it forwards to the destination channel and nothing happens!

Please I'm stuck on this step, help me fix this so I cant start auto forwarding messages!

I have added the SESSION_STRING to .env file, following "https://replit.com/@aahnik/tg-login" instruccions, and it is still not working.

The share/invite links should work, I just tested and the msgs get forwarded. But if you want to use chat IDs you have 2 options.

1. Use @userinfobot. Forward a msg to this bot from the chat that you want to know his ID, then go to the bot and it will show you.
2. Use a Telegram fork that will show you the chat ID when you click on the chat name. For Windows, you could use Kotatogram or 64Gram

You don't have to add SESSION_STRING to .env file. As per Wiki

Open the folder with VS Code and create the files .env and config.tgcf.yml. You will be required to login to your Telegram account only for the first time. The session files will be stored in this folder. Don't delete them, and keep them secret.

So delete the string from .env file and try again. If still not working then is an issue with the config file (tgcf.config.yml), put the config here to have a look.

I looked more closely and observed that in the right of your first picture you posted the config. There are some errors. The links should look like https://t.me/joinchat/waY8vjSKQik1ZDUx and not like https://t.me/waY8vjSKQik1ZDUx

Error from the first image was caused by what action? And what do you mean by "not able to run"? After you created the env file and tgcf.config.yml you have to open the terminal from the folder that contains these files and run tgcf live

Also, the yml file is badly formatted. Try like this

Run pip uninstall tgcf and after is uninstalled run pip install --upgrade tgcf , after is installed run tgcf

Let's try one more time. Go to the folder where you have env and config file. From inside that folder click on the File menu from the top left of the window and then select Open with Powershell. Run python --version. It should show Python 3.9.6 After that run tgcf

From the same folder and with Powershell run pip install tgcf. After installing try again to run tgcf. If still not working run in Powershell this command ExecutionPolicy -list and show me the screenshot. Also, run this $env:Path and put a screenshot here.

The Wiki is pretty clear, install Python, check the box that said add to the path, install PowerShell, check the boxes for path and context menu, use VS Code or Notepad++ to create env file and config file. Create a folder named tgcf somewhere on your PC and add env and config file there. From that folder open PowerShell and run pip install tgcf. After that run tgcf live or tgcf past. It would ask for the phone number and code received. Then should work.
