missing license file and copyright statement

high there, you do really cool stuff here, thanks for your work! it will be a little bit easier for others to use it if you could point to the info about copyright and license conditions in a more explicit way. Common way to do that is to include a LICENSE file in the root of the repo and also add a copyright statement and a license reference into every source code file.
