@christinerogers:
Quickly reviewed the site with Alan -- the major feedback was he'd like to see "categories" at the top of the page,
I think the Expertise label/filter already in the Network page will do this.
-- Can it be added in the News/Events page ? Please play with this a little and let me know if it can be done -- and a time estimate ?

Specifically he wants a way to filter/view only all news/events of a certain type --
Here are 2 very legit use cases:

a link/button/filter that will filter the cards to show only the GBC meetings (i.e. expertise/category field: "GBC meetings" )
another link/button/filter to show only the Vera Gross lecture cards from years past (e.g. the expertise/category could be called Vera Gross Lecture)
This would also mean adding category(like expertise) tag/labels to each existing card but i can help with that part.

It'll be important right round the time of launch e.g. early next week.
Thanks, Christine

This was handled for the launch by adding a few buttons on the event page.

We'd like to add more categories, such as Workshops, Conferences, etc -- scope of this issue should cover this next phase.
