Please describe the problem

When setting up the integration some values default to metric such as mileage. I have to change these from KM to Miles each time.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would be nice to have this set or follow my preferences based on my location during install of the integration.

Nothing. Manually set these now.

So, by default, to make things easier for everyone, I defined every unit to be metric. You may adjust those manually on HA, for each sensor, and define which ones you want.

As far as I know, you should not need to be making any more changes after, even between upgrades. But can you elaborate on why you need to manually set those every time?

Any how, let me see if I can find a workaround to get this set for user/system defaults.

Sometimes the integration and api loose connection and no amount of reloads fixes it. Usually remove and setup the integration and it works however I've then got to update the relevant values to make it match my preferences.

That's quite strange. My own production setup has been quite sound for several weeks.

Do you experience a similar behavior with the iSmart app? Being hard to get data updates?

You should not need to remove the integration and get it re-added for everything to work. The connection principle is the same, both adding and updates use the same methods and connections... So I see no reason for it to work differently.

Just to add, I have the same issue as @eximo84 in that it sometimes goes unavailable and I have to reload or re-install to get it working again. The iSmart app seems to get data while the integration doesn't. Today the only way I could get it back up was to delete the secondary account in iSamart and reinstall using the new account.

I too would like to be able to set imperial measurements on install if possible (I know, we Brits are awkward ;) .
