Looks like you may have been testing this patch with v.bshape. I think the leftmost outlet of v.pulse should be connected to the rightmost inlet of the [*~] multiplier object, unless you want to A/B between v.pulse and v.bshape (in which case I'd probably just use selector~ 2).
