What kind of check you're looking for? There is a metric tracking failed queries, which might give an indication to issues with the database. If you're looking to monitor that the database server is running, that seems outside the scope of the query exporter, there are other exporters for monitoring host and application status. |

I think there should be a metric to identify the survivability state of the database, similar to the oracledb_up in oracle_exporter, when it is 1, it is alive, and when it is 0, it is dead |

The prerequisite for detecting database metrics is that the database is in a live state. Subsequently, when applying, it is possible to first determine whether it is alive.
