Installing budgie desktop on Fedora 28 via copr leaves a blank desktop with minimal styling.

It does also not seem to respect the desktop set by gnome-settings:

Ideally the budgie desktop would (1) inherit the existing desktop wallpaper from gnome (2) respect the wallpaper setting set by gnome-settings and/or (3) include some default styling of it's own, like a unique wallpaper and a Budgie icon to launch the Budgie menu, instead of the gnome icon.

  1. Lacks support for XML background, Fedora default wallpaper and GNOME animated backgrounds use XML background. See Missing features for compatibility with GNOME solus-project/budgie-desktop#261
  2. It respects, have you tried to change with other image?
  3. Yeah, I already planned this idea. I will work on this when I have free time :)

  1. I see.
  2. I tried but it wouldn't work with the default Fedora background.
  3. Thank you for your work on this.
