A Lyx (2.x, should also work with previous versions) layout for writing a Thesis at University of Bologna (specifically DEIS - Department of Engineering).
You should just open the tesi.lyx file and start writing. It's good practice to split each chapter in a separate file, as shown in Cap2.lyx A basic bibliography file is also included, you could manage it for example with JabRef.
