Artisan not starting

I have Artisan on Linux Lite and suddenly it will not start, no error messages, nothing. I am not good with Linux, so please bear with me. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Artisan, the latest version, then installing a previous version, no change. I went into the file system and tried to start it using the exec file, but no. I have also updated Linux Lite. This has been working fine for years, now this. I am at a loss, please help.

What changed with your computer between the time when it worked and the time it didn't? Did something get updated?

How do you have Artisan installed? Deb, AppImage, Flatpak?

I went into the file system and tried to start it using the exec file, but no.

What exactly did you try? Did you run a shell command or what?

I'm not sure if anything was updated between it working and not. I am using the debian version of Linux Lite.

I have been a Windows user for many years, so I tried to run from the exec file as I would from Windows, by double clicking, also right click and then "Execute", As I said, I am not good with Linux, The only reason I am using it is I built a PC from old parts just for roasting coffee, and it saved me having to get another Windows licence.

What "exec file"? What is it called, and where is it in the filesystem?

Is Artisan listed in the applications menu if you have one? (Similar to the Start menu on Windows)

You could also try running Artisan from a terminal, you might get a useful error message.

The "exec" file I tried is:
/usr/share/artisan/artisan

Artisan is not listed in the applications menu

I tried running from a terminal and got this:

Yes it does mean something! Artisan, or rather a library it depends on, can't find glibc version 2.35. According to https://distrowatch.com/table-mobile.php?distribution=lite, Linux Lite 5 has glibc 2.31. Looks like you'll need to update Linux Lite.
