Change Default Variable Name of The Auto-Fix of EM101

Hey there fellows!

So I have been using ruff a lot lately and I ran into EM101.

My team and I were writing like this:

raise Exception(f"some msg {a}")

and then EM101 popped up and suggested an auto-fix.

msg = f"some msg {a}"
raise Exception(msg)

Now this is a fine suggestion and fix, but I really would love to be able to change the default variable msg name.
Every time I use the auto fix, I then proceed to change all instances to exception_message

Is this something that exists ? can this be done?

Hi @remchuk

I can see how this is annoying, but I don't think introducing this option is the right solution. Instead, I'd rather improve our IDE support so that Ruff automatically selects the msg variable after applying the fix in "rename-mode" so that you can either hit enter (accept the name as is) or rename the variable however you like.
