In v3.2.12 combined with the Auto Register plugin, it was possible for an existing customer to make a new purchase or renew their licence without logging in. The customer would remain logged out after purchase, with the payment correctly assigned to their account.

In v3.3 onwards, when an existing customer enters their email address during a new purchase or renewal, an error shows: "Email already used. Login or use a different email to complete your purchase."

This creates unnecessary friction during the checkout process, especially during renewals (as the renewal notice email sends them directly to the checkout, but they are then turned away saying they need to login first).

Please let me know if you need more details.
