"Automatically register new user accounts" + password

In wp-admin → Downloads → Setup → Payments → Checkout there is a 'Customer Registration' setting to "Automatically register new user accounts".

However, the email that gets sent to new users says this:

Password: [entered on site]

But the user didn't enter a password, it was automatically created for them (and not shown). I think this is a bug.
