iOS no picture on player when users go from pip back to app #491

Reproducible on iOS recent productions e.g. 5.6.58

Open app
Play video
Exit the app to home screen
Video would automatically go into pip
Open app again
Expected: Pip disabled automatically and video plays continuously
Actual: User have to manually disable pip and when pip is disabled, only audio plays continuously and there is no picture on player.
