Terminate all stopped EC2 instances listed in the Google Sheet to optimize cloud costs. This task involves reviewing the details of the stopped instances, cross-checking with the Google Sheet, and safely terminating instances that are no longer needed. The Google Sheet must be updated to reflect the status of the terminated instances.

Goals

  • Review the Google Sheet containing details of stopped EC2 instances.
  • Identify EC2 instances that can be safely terminated for cost optimization.
  • Terminate the identified stopped EC2 instances.
  • Update the Google Sheet to reflect the status of terminated instances.
  • Verify that no critical or necessary instances are mistakenly terminated.

Expected Outcome

  • All unnecessary stopped EC2 instances are terminated, leading to reduced cloud costs.
  • The Google Sheet is updated to reflect the status of the terminated instances, ensuring accurate tracking.

Acceptance Criteria

  • The Google Sheet is reviewed and verified for stopped EC2 instances.
  • Unnecessary stopped EC2 instances are safely terminated.
