@gperu @tompollard some wonderful volunteers from the community have joined me as new Editors. We would be able to start the review process for this lesson, as it seems like the logical first of the group of ML lessons you submitted. Are you still open to the lesson being reviewed here, or should we focus our efforts elsewhere (for now)? |
Great, thanks @tobyhodges! My preference would be to begin with the responsible machine learning lesson. There are some known issues with this (the novice) lesson that I'd like to fix before another review, and I think the responsible machine learning lesson should stand well by itself. It's become a little outdated, but hopefully this will be picked up as part of the review. |

Lesson Description
This lesson provides an introduction to some of the common methods and terminologies used in machine learning research. We cover areas such as data preparation and resampling, model building, and model evaluation.
It is a prerequisite for the other lessons in the machine learning curriculum. In later lessons we explore tree-based models for prediction, neural networks for image classification, and responsible machine learning.
