Comments
What’s the output of the file/link created by |
I reinstalled breath with ubuntu 22.04, run the command sof-setup-audio, says that the setup was completed, reboot and when i try to do sudo alsa-info says "alsa-info command not found" |
What's the output of |
The output of sof-setup-audio is: acevedo00@acevedox:~$ sof-setup-audio pcm.softvol { [Service] [Install] |
After that, i reboot and don't have any audio or device showing what so ever :(. |
And then, i tried the command that you gave me, and says this: acevedo00@acevedox:~$ sudo alsa-info |
And i see that you change the post name, but i tried with ubuntu again, and happens the same thing, no audio. That log you see above is from ubuntu, not debian. |
does all of this work after |
I'll try it now and let you know what happens. And by the way I thank you for your help and I apologize for the inconvenience. |
Hi, sudo apt install alsa* didn't work either, i will leave you the file alsa-info.txt down below. |
So, sudo apt install alsa* was installed, and i did run the sof-setup-audio, but i have the same audio output "Dummy Output" and no sound. |
Do headphones work? |
I have bt headphones and yes, works, but i can't try the 3.5mm jack because i don't have any cable headphones :( |
I borrowed a wired headset and didn't work either. |
Some ideas @MilkyDeveloper? I'm turning crazy with this. |
This is a UCM/mixer settings issue that will take more steps to debug and fix. For faster communication, would you mind joining the Discord? |
Yes. I have already joined. |
I've got a Samsung Chromebook 4 running Ubuntu (with KDE) with the same issue. Anything I can do to assist with this one? |
I already have installed breath with ubuntu 22.04 in my CB but i wanted to try debian. I make the ISO, follow all the steps one by one again, but this time the sof-setup-audio doesn't work, says "sof-audio enabled, reboot" or something like that, but when i reboot, nothing happens, no audio what so ever. Please help, i need this for work and study, and breath was working pretty excelent.
