Hi @Furtif .
I have a MediaNav 2.0.9.9. version of a Renault KWID.
I read your messages in [Issue #626 and like you said, I pressed MAKE VIRGIN button in MICONTEST menu and now DACIA logo is shown followed of message "System not configured, Please connect diag tool".
I am trying fix it my self and in Issue #626 I saw that I would need the DDT4ALL program and an adpater ELM327 modified or a cable USB-DIAG 3 model from DERELEK.
I saw too that they was talking about MediaNav 4.1.0 there, so I would like to know if the DDT4ALL program and an adpater ELM327 modified or a cable USB-DIAG 3 model from DERELEK would serve to restore a MediaNav 2.0.9.9.
I am newbie about restore MediaNav but I read many foruns and saw many videos to know that pendrive with ini files doesn't works for 2.0.9.9. version like works for 4.0.6 and 4.1.0 versions.
I aprreciate for any help.

The ULC 4.1 sends via pins 6 and 14. If this is different for you, you need a redirection to 12 and 13.

You can restore the acoustic parameters with a script. I recommend a powerful ELM interface, like vLinker FS.
The other settings can be adjusted in MICOM.

Estou vendo pra comprar um ELM327 para colocar a chave e trocar os pinos 6->13 e 12->14 porque não encontrei algum que já viesse pronto, só com a pinagem trocada para FORD 6->3 e 14->11.
O problema é que os ELM327 atuais não vêm com fios, apenas a placa com os componentes eletrônicos. Os com fios são mais antigos.

I dont think you can get them already wired up / modified - which is a shame i admit. I found easy way rather than solder the ELM327 is to get a y-cable and wire that up/short out the wires instead

The CMD file to be run by sendSCRIPTS has many parameters like CNF_PACT, CNF_RAD, CNF_SOUND, SPVR1 and others. So, if I create a CMD file for each parameter and run one by one, could I get around the scanner problem with full buffer ?

Some questions just to better understand this ELM buffer full problem:
1- This problem occurs because of the construction of the ELM and not because it is USB or because of the speed of the USB port it is connected to (USB 1.0, 2.0 OR 3.0), that means, could it happen with an ELM WIFI too?
2- CAN Hight and CAN Low of the ELM have to do with positive/negative polarity or with data transmission speed?
Because if it is related to data speed, could be connected pin 14 of the ELM (High) to pins 12 and 13 of the CAR OBD SOCKET increase the data transmission speed?
3- If the problem is the length of each parameter, could a CMD file be created for each parameter and sent in small parts with a certain time interval, hoping to empty the buffer?

If (hypothetically speaking) the parameters were all filled out, or not touched in the acoustic parameters boxes, how about then? - could it be got out of the 'connect diagnostic tool' with the elm he already has?

You can only have the same negative experiences as many others before you with the same problem.
That's why I wrote to you in December about the necessary requirements for a successful solution and a user-friendly decoupling of the Pyren Terminal given.
You decide for yourself how many months your detour will last.
The long commands are already split up for sending, but your interface can't meet the time limit.

I really appreciate your support, but I think it doesn't justify spending a lot of money on a scanner that I'm only going to use once to solve a problem on my media that will never happen again.
Furthermore, on the Russian forum the person says that can connection to the medinav by swapping pins 6>13 and 12>14 and using an ELM327 like mine, with the PIC18F25K80 chip, only with wifi. To guarantee the connection, I bought the ELM327 USB v1.5 for US$ 2.57 and a friend brought it to me from Portugal along with the ODB2 splitter bought on Aliexpress.
I have not found anyone categorically saying that they have tried to use ELM327 to reprogram Media Nav 2.0.9.9. did not work. So, I had to try the most cheap scanner first.
Furthermore, when we open DDT4ALL the ELM327 USB like mine appears as one of the scanner choice options (1), as another red one (2) and the Vgate-OBD2 Scanner (3) I think.

Now, I'm going to see if I can find someone with the Vgate-OBD2 Scanner that I can use without having to buy it, so that later it doesn't end up lying in a corner here at home.

P.S.:
Would the red usb scanner (number 2 in the image) also work?

I got someone out of that 'connect diagnostic tool' last year sometime with someone remotely over the internet , I wish I could remember how I done it now it wasnt on this later of model medianav , it was either earlier medianav (9.1.3) or Rlink1 ... i just think I filled out all parameters and aftersales date and hard reset and bang, on restart the message went ... I know one thing I did not fill out the acoustic values (because I wouldnt know where to start with them parameters) - and the person just had a normal bluetooth elm327 (with amended y cable)

There are different Micom buttons that you shouldn't press and with different effects.
At an0nimo it is the Virgin button.
This reset to the ECU manufacturer configuration means a loss of acoustic parameters and other parameters. That's why the diagnostic tool should be connected.

In your Russian link there is nothing about sending acoustic parameters.
But in this link here and here with the same note that success depends on the performance of the interface.

And those are my experiences too.

The red symbol in ddt4all switches the baud rate to 115200.
This is the standard baud rate for OBDLINK SX, OBDLINK EX, ELS27, VLINKER FS and other interfaces with large buffers.
OBDLINK designate their chip with STN.

I got to install pyREN watching this video:

I updated the database to that of the Can Clip V270.
After opening pyREN and clicking the "Start pyren" button, I typed the option 44 KWID BR XBB and the RADIO ECU and MULTIMIDIA ECU were found.
In the ECU RADIO, I typed the 12 DDT settings option and a window opened with fields similar to DDT4ALL.
I wrote all the acoustic parameters contained in the sendSCRIPTS file "ULC4.1_ACOUSTIC_PARAMETERS_2_SPEAKERS.cmd" and pressed HARD RESET but the problem continues.
I went back to pyREN through the previous steps, went to the STAT1 option and the acoustic parameters were read, as shown in the screen recording I made:

Hi guys.
I am back and now with good news: I GOT !!

I didn't need to use pyREN's MACRO option to rewrite the acoustic parameters. The "DDT screens" option has screens very similar to DDT4ALL and it was easy to copy the acoustic parameters and paste them into the respective fields to be rewritten.
The pyREN rewrote everything without to burst my ELM's buffer, and it was even fast at work.
I used the acoustic parameters from the ULC_gen4_v1.4_20181217T103824.xml file that is shown in the penREN list as a choice option, but even after rewriting them in Media Nav the message to connect the "diag tool" remained.
Only after changing 02 settings was I able to hear the pleasant beep sound:
1- MAP SELECTION -> 2323:##: No Map
2- Vehicle type for RVC -> 16:Guideline for XBB
Then, after the HARD RESET, Media Nav was resurrected, starting to beep at the initial Renault logo. Then just enter the 4-number Media Nav code and run for a hug... LOL

Two things that I would like to know yet:
1- If you could recommend a website that explains each abbreviation for the settings.
I.e.:
In the USER INTERFACE, what does AHA, RES and TMC mean?
What is the difference between WAKE UP from ACC and from SYSTEM ON ?
What does E-CALL mean and other nomenclatures.
2- Before, when I openned the car by key control a big digital clock was shown on Media Nav screen and I need to press power button to star the Median Nav interface to select the radio station, etc.
I think that is some setting of the car and not of the Media Nav because after the car returned from the service, when I opened the car using the key control, the Media Nav interface with the icons already appeared and no longer the large digital clock.
Someone knows about that?

I didn't understand.
Anyway, I forgot to inform that I got to make the digital clock appear on the Media Nav screen by changing the configuration of the BIC/A2/A3 module and not through the Media Nav settings. I just don't know if the changes made are correct and incomplete.
I created a new specific discussion with this subject to not talking about in this discussion, to not mixing the topics.
