Catch-up feature should allow filtering posts by age

Problem I have

When I use catch-up every day for about a week, I notice that by the end of the week I am seeing a lot of posts I've already seen before that are just being replied to again or boosted again by someone I follow.

Solution I'd like

I'd like to be able to "hide posts before [date]", or at least "hide posts from before catch-up range", to filter out old posts I've already scrolled past.
