  He will look into Lightning labs+Neutrino additional to the current wallet prototypes. After that he will likely close the project scope and move on to a new project with production code implemention of Bitcoind and Electrum (or Neutrino if it turns out to be better). But scope will be defined by him when defining the new project.

  He continued to work on the annotation based framework for the trade protocols and added the 2of2 MAD stype Multisig protocol.

• Update @ghubstan:
  He looked into GraalVM. He posted on the keybase channel some results. In summary GraalVM is much faster at startup, and has a much smaller file size for the binary (Bisq would be 38 MB instead of 336 MB, but he could not get Bisq running due to issues with reflection). Memory usage was not further investigated but it can be assumed that its much better in that regards as well. It seems Oracle is pushing this technology strongly but its still in a rather experimental stage with known issues. We should keep an eye on it and try to support it as parallel build option from early production state on to gain more experience. There are likely higher risks with new security vulnerabilities as its much less battle tested than traditional Java VM. Another downside is that if it behaves slighly different than the app running in normal Java VM bugs might easier get missed by developers as they usually do not test with the binary and debugging is likely not supported.
  Besided that he worked with @sqrrm on the atomic swap project for Bisq.
