Describe the feature

Some terms used in the simulation are not too common and could benefit from additional definitions and explanations. Extra detail could come in the form of a footnote, a link to another page in the site or an external link, or some other helpful method.

List of terms:

  • Irregular: Most commonly asked-about term. Is referenced in the migrant select page
  • Community Network: May need more additional clarification. Is referenced in the migrant select page
  • Remittances: Needs some sort of definition. Is referenced in the remittances life event card and in the dashboard
  • Family Basket: Needs more information. Is referenced in the game over page and the dashboard
  • Formal vs. Informal: Needs more context and definitions. Referenced throughout the game.
  • Denounce: Needs a definition and context (see Clarify what denouncing does in the context of the migrant experience  #84). Referenced in the "Sexual Harassment" card options.

Priority

2.5 (Highly important)

Additional Notes and Information

Received comments during the study on these terms. Was asked many times what they meant.
