It would be helpful to support windows if possible. It looks like the upstream repo has a conda recipe for a windows build:
https://github.com/choderalab/openmmtools/tree/master/devtools/conda-recipe

and there is a windows build on the omnia channel:
https://anaconda.org/omnia/openmmtools

@synapticarbors : Looking over meta.yaml, it looks like the blocker might be ambertools, which does not have win builds.

However, I can't find any instances of using ambertools in the openmmtools source. Do you want to try submitting a PR to remove ambertools and the skip for win from the recipe?

I am not sure either, but take into account that ambertools provides many packages and executables that are not covered by that search query.
