A while back I had setup "http://ig" + "clientId" + "://authorize" as a redirect URI in Instagram client manager. I needed to add a sandbox invite to the client but it was throwing an error "Submit a valid website" and highlighting the Redirect URI field as red. I removed it to be able to add the invite but I now cannot add it back in.

I have tried numerous variations

http://ige1716724820542e9a39ec32654785ab8
I continue to receive the submission error.

Unfortunately I still get the validation error. It's odd, it worked 4 - 5months ago but now I am unable to add anything that does not have a properly formatted URI. Have you tried recently?

Is the structure of this URI an Instagram requirement or specific to this SDK?

Hi!

I have the same problem here, did you find a workaround ?
