LLVM, Vitis HLS (both very rusty but could probably catch up after reading docs)
Research
When do you want to do research?
Spring 2025 for MEng project
What is exciting to you about research?
Compilers and Advanced Compilers have been my favorite and most rewarding courses I've taken here at Cornell, and I hope to be able to explore these topics further than what classes are able to provide. I think there are some super interesting applications in the field and the prospect of being able to work on them excites me.
What kind of research do you want to do?
Any sort of compiler work (DSL, ML compilers, etc).
Background
Was there a paper that particularly excited you? The MILR paper.
Which of the current research projects would you be interested in working on and why?
Calyx & Filament both seem very interesting to me. I've worked briefly with Vitis HLS on a small project, so the HDL aspect of the project seem pretty interesting to me. Anything else you want to tell us about yourself?
Having done the Ray Tracing in a Weekend series + both compilers courses in Rust, I really love working with the language and it excites me that a lot of the projects in Capra are implemented in Rust. Attach a CV/Resumé:
