What do you mean by authentication string / authenticator string? Can you explain in more detail what is wrong? TOTP is a well-defined algorithm. If the generated one-time password is not correct, you might want to check your device's time. E.g. compare with a service like time.gov or uhr.ptb.de how much it deviates. If both are on the same device the secret might differ (or the parameters might). I'm not sure what the PIN (presumably to unlock the other app?) has to do with anything? That should not change the secret from which the algorithm derives the second factor. |

I tried adding an authentication string from a TOTP account I was hoping to manage through Vaultwarden, however the TOTP code doesn't match what is expected when I am using another third party App. The app requires a PIN first, so im guessing the pin + authenticator string is required, but Im unable to see how I can apply this through Vaultwarden.
Anyone successful or have a detailed walkthrough?
