Is the plugin going to be deprecated ?

I learnt that google is pushing firebase instead of Google Analytics and deprecated the GA (https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/9167112?hl=en)

1. Is the plugin using the same SDK as google is deprecating ?

2. Can I use the GA Ionic plugin without any hiccups?

AFAIK Google will stop supporting GA for Mobile apps....
I've just incorporated cordova-plugin-firebase into my Ionic project but still left this plugin....

I probably should remove it ..... not sure yet if I will get duplicated user counting or something....
Also didnt see a way to "trackView" on the firebase plugin.... I used to use that to measure how many users got to my last screen....

2. Short answer No, you will continue using analyticity in the WEBSITE instead of the Mobile configuration. check Doc

I changed to firebase months ago and basically lost all my historical data....

And now firebase recommends us to use Google Analytics.... They call it "App + Web".
If not mistaken firebase sends the data to there themselves....
I dont know what voodoo is this but it is what it is....
