Canonical URL could be automatic. For instance, by providing the app's base URL, then, using the router information, retrieve the page URL. And assume that's the canonical URL unless another is configured.

That would be useful for Open Graph URL transitively. And to Open Graph / Twitter Cards image if using relative paths.
