dataEnc() not providing unique answers no matter what mode is used

I have been tinkering with your security Service (in a non MVC way) and was testing the dataEnc() flag. In reading your post on CFDocs (and in your own markup explanations) encrypting with CBC should return different results every time it is run. However, I have not found any of the modes to actually return something different the 2nd time it is run.

And in reading the mode explanations, it would seem it should.
