Hi, I got to 100% and All Notes but am stuck on few things trying for All Paths:

1. How to get to the secret path that's shown on the map branching off Endless Eight?

2. How to get to this area seen at the end of The One Way Round? (outlined in red in the following screenshot: )
   

3. I got to the dead end off The Sphere in two different ways (and two different orientations of said dead end), but the path pointing to there is still flashing white on the map? And it isn't shown as connected to that dead end - in fact, there is no path connected to that dead end??
   Am I missing something else around The Sphere?

Hello! I admire this game, mesmerizing. Difficult at many times mostly because of same button acting as controlling and grabbing of the platforms, which sometimes has to be held for extended periods of time - but I understand it has to be this way for NES gamepad.
Found this game through a Reddit post and I thought it's a game for under an hour with rotating rooms being just a gimmick, but instead I enrolled myself for an 8-hour ride in 2 sittings 😃, I like it a lot how any room can be rotated and not just the Title room.

For the note pinned to "The Hub", I did the most ridiculous thing carrying a platform from "I Like To Move It Move It", through "King's Cross" and the rest, because I didn't notice the shortcut 😅, but that also taught me how to solve some secrets.

My questions would be:

1. I'm stuck at "149&NS" score, where should I look for something that I'm missing?
2. What do white-blinking road parts mean? Great map design by the way, love how the hub sections are shaking and how anti-hub design wordlessly told me I need to re-visit it some other time with more power-ups.

I'm completely stuck on how to get the 4th note on leap of faith. I'm pretty sure it's the one in the section right before A New Beginning, but I have no idea how to get a platform in there or get in there while the world is tilted. Help?

This game is really good, but there's 2 levels I'm stuck on.

1. Ski Dyver. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do after I ride the platform all the way up.
2. Wide Gap. I know I need to get to the other side, but I'm having trouble getting past the second gap and I want to know if there are any tricks.

The Wide Gap is probably the platforming-wise hardest place in the game, with no way around it.

I actually have found a way around it, though it's not really any easier.

1. Grab the platform
2. Jump down
3. Release the platform right before you touch the platform-killing blocks. The later you release it the better. (takes a few tries but it is doable)
4. Jump onto the platform
5. Profit

No problem - and I took this as feedback to improve accessibility in this room as well. Now there is a visual indication that a note is playing.

Added in commit 9a55a64 - I will likely release that (together with first version that supports German language) on Monday.

Run seems realistic, I was surprised by how you got past Ski Dyver by simply being too fast, but it kinda makes sense as switch blocks take a few frames to become solid.

I am adding a source code patch to add a flag -cheat_vvvvvv (right next to -cheat_in_air_jump) to enable this mode without source patching.

Not stuck anywhere but when I pick up the platform (press B), other platforms are moving away from me. I completed the entire game but now I saw some speedrun where the player picks the platform, but other platforms stand still.
How can I pick up the platform and not move others?

Yes, exactly. A few places in the game get harder (but not impossible) with the coil powerup.

And in fact, it is possible to beat the game without ever getting this powerup, although Ski Dyver gets unnecessarily hard when doing so. I did beat it once though.

And also, after getting The Remote, do not try it out and fall on the coil, but hit esc right after acquiring it.

I have no plans for making more levels/worlds, however if a new "world" for the game is built by anyone else, I will add support to the game for multiple "worlds" (with their own sets of save states, etc.).

I recommend Tiled as level editor (which is what I've used myself too).

Two ways:

Easy way

• Go to The Hub.
• Use the right (or left, if flipped) exit. Title: "Hilbert's Dotel". It looks like an endless room with many doors.
• Beat this section.

Second room of this contains a piano; which notes to play is "more or less" revealed in the text in that room. Also, if you ever played the LucasArts game "Loom", you may even guess it :)

Hard way

• Go to The Anti-Hub
• Use the right (or left, if flipped) exit. Title "The Wide Gap". It looks like a large gap with a platform.
• Beat this section.

This section requires using the other two abilities to beat some platforming/platform riding challenges.

I found a way to get to the Hub upside down. I can't possibly be the only one who's discovered this, right? All you need to do is:

1. Start from Fly High
2. Take the platform and go back to House with Two Rooms
3. Go back to the top, and navigate the maze as I did in the video
4. You have arrived at House with Two Rooms sideways
5. Go through the room, and get a single-wide platform from Fly High, leaving the double-wide one behind
6. Go back to House with Two Rooms again
7. Navigate the maze, and arrive at House with Two Rooms upside down

A trick like this one is actually necessary for some run categories, such as "No Teleport" or even "No Coil". A lesser form of this trick (taking platform back, but no orientation trickery) is needed to beat "All Notes", as you need a platform in The Hub to collect the note at its top. And indeed, the topology section of the game is probably the easiest way to get to The Hub in any orientation you want, and with a platform.

Hey there!
I'm quite enjoying AAAXY with 5hours of pt actually on android. Im stuck at some rooms:
Crumbling upwards : I made the jump whitout the moving block, and i'm stuck at the near top because there is no more blocs to jump on, and i did it whit the movable platform and i drop into the thing on top and i get back into the same room.
I have 2 others rooms rn which is just me not be skilled enough, i just have to try harder (higher higher higher and multi-party authorisation)

BTW, otherwise you got 100% of the "official" rooms in the game (but a few secret rooms are missing). Remaining missing parts will be highlighted on the map as a sort of "epilogue" once you finished the ending from "It Only Takes One".

Next release will highlight this checkpoint once you see it - this was indeed a weird way to get stuck that I didn't expect, but the change I made should make it easier to find the end in future releases.

Actually not too hard - just walk right until the room repeats (5 pairs of doors), then come back to the entrance and it will actually be the exit.

A New Beginning, get to the non-end loop that comes back to it, also the note would be nice

A New Beginning: move towards the place with the platform that you could ride up to The One Way Round. Do NOT go there; instead, use the button to push the platform away so you fall down.

Then move right and back and the platform reappears. Grab that platform, and ride it up on the other side.

You're now in an upside down version of A New Beginning. Close to its entrance, observe a see-through part of the floor that shows a small sliver of another area, and wildly jump around until you fall through the floor. That's the entrance.

However, all you get from completing the hard part is one note. As this note is part of a "secret" section, it isn't actually required for an "all notes" run, but only for "all secrets".

You can only get in from another angle. You need to be here but turned by 90 degrees, so that the room is below you.

You can use Leap of Faith to achieve the necessary rotation.

Try getting here while still having a platform (some sections before try to steal your platform from you). If you get here with a platform, try moving forward in the "circle" while still having it and you can proceed forward and leave the cycle.

I saw another commenter (Inee94) talk about "always on" VVVVVV mode. I know about that section of the game, but how do I activate it? Is it something you get at the end of a game or is it from the cheats (which I faintly remember)? Also, talking about them, where can I access the resources for them? And can I use them if I'm playing on Android? Thanks in advance

Alright then, I figured out some stuff by myself. Firstly, "all VVVVVV" mode is activated by launching the game through the terminal with a special flag - but I don't know how you can do that on mobile though (easily). Also, I'm still wondering if there are other cheats available, and if so where to access them still (I also have a computer to run it on though, in case it can't be done on mobile).

Cheats on mobile are not officially supported, but I did manage to use them myself by

$ vi aaaaxy-config.json
(now edit the cheat options into the JSON file)
$ adb push aaaaxy-config.json /sdcard/Android/data/io.github.divVerent.aaaaxy/files/config/config.json

Cheats will then be active on next game launch, but should go away again when the config is saved at exit of the game.

However, the intended way to use this mode is actually a special section in the game hidden at the start of "A New Beginning".

Thanks for the advice, however sometimes I play this game without my computer with me, so I can't always use ADB debugging. Maybe you can add a "cheat menu," either activated with a code (i.e. Konami) or by beating the game (or both). I'll still try out what you said later though, thanks for the help!

Good idea; too bad konami code and typing "AAAAXY" already do "something", but maybe I can find a way to get a cheat menu in.

Runtime enabling/disabling cheats are a bit tricky in that when cheats are enabled, saving is automatically disabled to not "taint" your progress with cheating, but well, I guess if I force a full reload of the entire game (also done when changing language due to prerendered text), it should be fine.
