• ET1: Uneven bottom of columns??

Please see this file Φ (4).pdf and perhaps point us to the problematic pages? In some cases column lengths differ but as far as I can see, it is always for a reason, mostly to avoid a new name label separated from its entries.

• ET2: Running heads

Please clarify, what is the problem?

• ET3: Blank lines inserted, apparently at random (possibly the same reason as ET5, with extra space at the end of an entry)

Reason for this behaviour is clearly an extra space, very likely the same problem as ET5.

• ET4: ?= does not function when relating people whose initial letters differ. In the past this has required manual editing in the TeX files

This will still require manual editing, I think, but I will check with Grzegorz again.

• ET5: Space at end of each example of a name before ; This is the cause of many orphan

I thought it will be an easy fix, there's clearly an extra space produced somewhere but couldn't find it yet. Very likely this is the same problem as ET3.
