Notification on Errors by Mail

Hey there,
How can i realize an email notification on an error, without an own mqtt server?
I want to place an module on my rented flats heater Buderus GB 125 and want to be notified when the entity gives an error, so I can react faster on an blackout. I only find the possibility by mqtt over Internet.

I thought about connecting to mosquitto free service each 30minutes, submit the most needed informations and have them online, but how to realize any notification like in home assistant. Maybe by email

you can call external services via a URL and HTTP POST, see https://docs.emsesp.org/Configuring/#notification

EMS-ESP doesn't do native email/smtp but it's something we're considering (#1854 (comment)).

Yes, the notification via pushover is working good. I use it on my GB125 to report a change of last error. It is also pushed whan ems-esp restarts, but pushes the old, known error.

That's exactly what I was looking for.
Did I have to set any mqtt params for this, because after saving the rule it is visible in the schedule list and when I reload the page the entry is gone

no need for MQTT to use this feature. Strange that the entry goes after you hit Apply Changes. Can you go to Settings->Upload/Donwload and download the scheduler entries, open the file and see if it's there? Also which version of EMS-ESP are you on?

I don't click on submit changes after adding the rule. My mistake.

Now I did but it won't work, and don't know what's wrong

Use http instead of https.

Solved! The url call must be http and not https
