Managed to roll your exporter into a docker image, and integrate it into my docker-compose-stack.
Some fiddling left, but I get data into Grafana/Prometheus, great!

Would you mind sharing a matching dashboard?

Ah, btw, for your README: it works (dunno if in all details/metrics) with a HPE MSA 2060 storage.
