Hi everyone,

not sure if FM is affected by this, but it seems that a new userScripts API is available in FF 136:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1943050#c3

Seems documentation has still to be updated "userScripts.register() (confusingly - same name as the new API)"

There are many issues that need to be sorted before it is fully ready.

  • FireMonkey handles both userScript & userCSS and there is no userCSS MV3 API at the moment.
  • userScripts.execute API is not available yet.

Please note FireMonkey's dedicated repository.

Celebrated too early, thx for the reference, seems FF tracks this overall [meta] Implement userScripts API in MV3 (incl. userScripts.execute)
