SOC poll intervall WHILE charging ?

Hi there...

In the yaml I found the option to set the SOC polling intervall while NOT charging. And the default of 1 hour seems fine too. Especially with api's from Kia/Hyundai.

However I´m asking myself about the polling intervall WHILE charging. I do not care to overshoot charging a little but I´m a little more affraid of getting locked out when also using ABRP/Tronity... And I assume that EVCC / the SOC module is able to interpolate a little.

So what IS the polling intervall while charging and is it possible to set it ?

Yes you can set the interval in the config.yaml here depending on your Pollmode.

Well... According to the comments in the yaml that is the intervall while NOT charging...
I was asking about th einterval WHILE charging... How frequent is it (default) and is it possible to change it...

The background if my question is that kia/hyundai is very strickt about using their api and it will lock you out after 200 requests per day. Since I also plan to use it to feed data into ABRP I would like to be able to "safe" as many requests as possible. While 60 minutes polling when not charging seems fine I would like to know what the polling intervall WHILE charging is and if there is some kind of interpolation is happening in bewteen and if I can somehow influence the intervall as I would like it to be more like every 15 minutes than every 5 ...

While charging you have to use cache under vehicles:
I don't use anymore the Hyundai Bluelink for the SoC. Hyundai will contact you when you to often use the Bluelink Server.
I would suggest when you want to use Bluelink with EVCC than use it only while charging with 60 minutes polling.

Is usage of cache option under vehicle possible for all EVs?

This is why currently it's required to manually update SoC from Car to Webportal (outside of evcc) so EVCC can capture proper SoC afterwards. Intervall under charging seems only to be used for "NOT charging"

Thanks for confirming and please apologies this wasn't clear to me. Just doesn't want to screw the config up with configuring something I don't know the impact ;-)
