I'd love to see github-activity be similarly in its user experience to the gh CLI, which does inspection of the local folder and then allow the user to choose some details interactively.

To choose things interactively seems to be something we can get quickly from using https://github.com/magmax/python-inquirer for example, but it may require some decisions with regards to the options in general.
