TAWG Vision - what remit is implied by technology changes and enhancements?

The vision statement for the TAWG has now been agreed to be as follows:

To facilitate and encourage adoption of the CDM, through technological changes and enhancements

The core of this statement is what we mean by "technological changes and enhancements". So far we have agreed:

• We cover: non-functional e.g. persistence
• We don’t cover: functional e.g. modelling, business events (these are the domain of the CRWG and SWG)
• It is understood that technical changes proposed by the TAWG could lead to functional improvements though

We have several suggestions for qualities of the CDM that we need to reinforce with technology - we need to agree this list and clearly define each one:

• Predictable (consistently does what is expected)
• Stable
• Scalable
• Secure
• Robust
• Consistent (regular releases/fixes)
• Supportable
• Interoperable

The purpose of this discussion is for people to have an opportunity to refine the list of qualities and definitions for them. Suggestions for what the remit of the TAWG should be in relation to this are also very welcome!
